Bestobell set for further international expansion

3rd December 2013

Sheffield-based Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), is setting its sights on further international growth by revealing its plans to exhibit at Gastech 2014 in South Korea, one of the world's leading exhibitions for the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) industries.

This is part of the company's strategy to extend its international markets even further for its high quality cryogenic valves, which are already widely used for industrial gas, LNG marine and land-based LNG applications across the world.   GasTech 2014 will be held in Kintex between 24th to 27th March, where Bestobell will be demonstrating its DN100 Globe Valve with pneumatic actuator as well as its sales team being on hand to discuss any product or technical queries relating to valve technology to suit a myriad of different natural gas and LNG applications. Duncan Gaskin, Sales Director for Bestobell Valves, said: -It is exciting to be exhibiting at Gastech again as we see the exhibition as an opportunity to network and develop new business opportunities for our cryogenic valves across the world. It is particular relevant with it being in South Korea, a country renowned for being at the forefront of LNG development. As we have secured a number of high profile LNG marine contracts here recently, it will be great to be able to demonstrate our expertise in this region. The Gastech exhibition brings together energy professionals working in the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) industries. Held every 18 months, the show offers exhibitors the chance to share expertise, negotiate directly with suppliers, discuss the latest advances in LNG technology and find solutions that are right for their business. Bestobell Valves is a world-leader in the manufacture of cryogenic valves, with over 50 years' industrial gas experience and 15 years' successfully supplying to LNG marine markets. The company's valve technologies are widely used in the processing, storage and transportation of cryogenic fluids. The company also designs and produces valves to meet specific requirements in the marine sector and has supplied cryogenic valves to a majority of the major shipyards building LNG Carriers.
