Bradfield Brewery Sponsor Chris Waddle Charity Match

25th September 2015

We're delighted to announce that Bradfield Brewery have become matchday sponsor for the Chris Waddle charity game taking place on Sunday 4th October at Sandygate.

The local Sheffield brewery, who brew ales such as Belgian Blue and Farmers Blonde, will be the sponsor for the game which is being played between a Chris Waddle XI and a Hallam FC XI in aid of Prostate Cancer with all proceeds going to the Cancer charity. Bradfield Brewery's John Gill said "We're delighted to be sponsoring the game by becoming the matchday sponsor.  Prostate Cancer is a great cause so to be involved is a real honour for us and with so many Football legends there too it should be a great day." Chris Waddle said "It's fantastic news a local Sheffield company have agreed to sponsor the game.  All the money raised on the day will go towards the great work that Prostate Cancer UK undertake so Bradfield's contribution as sponsors is a great start to our fundraising efforts.  Hopefully there will be some of Bradfield's finest left for a quick half after the game too." Bradfield's ales will be on sale on the day at Sandygate and there will be an appearance from their 'bottle' mascot too. For more details on the game please visit http://bit.ly/PCUKWaddleMatch
