We are a not-for-profit community organisation, based in Hillsborough.

Well known throughout Sheffield as being one of the main venues where the -Full Monty was filmed. Nowadays, the heart of Burton Street Foundation is our specialist work supporting adults and children with learning disabilities, but we also have a great deal more to offer. Over the past 5 years we have invested over £2 million to refurbish and upgrade our beautiful Victorian buildings, making them fit for the 21st century, with specialist equipment and comfortable surroundings. Our community café, fully equipped accessible gym, sports hall, and special events are all open to the public. Our monthly Burton's Restaurant, usually held on the 2nd Friday of the month you can enjoy fine dining in the award winning restaurant which combines two purposes. Burton's serves fantastic locally sourced food at affordable prices and provides training and volunteering opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. You can rent out our hall and bar for a party or special occasion, organise conferences or meetings in our state of the art conference suite, rent a room, run your company from one of our 22 business units or even visit the hairdresser. There is something for everyone here with over 50 charities, businesses, community organisations, clubs and societies based at Burton Street. For people with learning or physical disabilities we run over 40 different sessions each week to help develop self- confidence, self- awareness and self- esteem through a range of creative activities. Sessions take place at Burton Street, at a satellite unit in Beighton and also as Outreach services in the community. We also run a Sibling Support group for young people who have siblings with a disability. Whether for business, pleasure, social or specialist services, we offer something here for everyone, and every penny raised goes towards furthering our work for clients with disabilities and their families.
