Organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and the Sheffield Star, the awards will take place on December 5 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre. The 15 categories announced fall in-line with the Sheffield City Region Business Awards, with all the winners from the Sheffield event progressing to the regional final in the summer of 2014. Elevation Recruitment is the headline sponsor for the Sheffield Business Awards which has been running for 12 years. Kate Stephenson, events manager at Sheffield Chamber, said: -We are delighted to be working in partnership with The Star and Elevation Recruitment to create an even bigger, more prestigious Sheffield Business Award than ever before. -I would recommend all businesses complete an application form as we have worked hard to ensure any company, big or small, from all sectors, will be able to fit into one of the categories and be recognised for their success. -In order for a company to qualify for the regional Business Awards they must have won an accolade at the Sheffield Awards. Therefore, this event could be the first step on the road to even more greatness for successful companies!
