Business Growth Dinner
13th February 2014
Working in association with the Academy for Chief Executives, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce are delighted to offer a new set of events to our membership.
Business Growth Dinners, sponsored by Bhayani Bracewell, provide the opportunity for Chief Executives or Managing Directors to meet together, network and listen to a world-class speaker over fine food and drinks, and have real take away value. We are delighted to welcome Phil Jesson as our speaker for this inaugural event in Sheffield. Presenting on `Key Account Management`. Phil's first job as an Army officer stood him in good stead for the career in sales and marketing that followed. As Phil states "it was an easy transition because the four key strategies are exactly the same i.e. offence, defence, alliance and deterrence." Phil has worked for the UK's workplace services providers Rentokil Ltd, Germany's media giant Bertelsmann the Swedish consultancy firm Mercuri International, Pirelli, EDF Energy Phil is an expert in sales and particularly in how to increase the revenue streams from your existing accounts and account management. He has spoken and carried out workshops on increasing sales to 1000`s of business leaders and sales and marketing teams across the UK and Europe, and undertook major training and development assignments for blue chip companies including many in Canada, USA, Brazil and Europe. His first business book "Piranhas In the Bidet" (which is "part novel, part coaching manual and part ghost story") provides an entertaining, informative guide and essential reading for todays business climate. Phil`s business KAMguru (KAM = key account management) helps you to develop profitable partnerships with your most important customers. His work is built around the "first rule of business" i.e."look after your most important customers before someone else does!", helping you stand out from your competitors (rather than stand up to them) by working as an exceptional "business partner" rather than an efficient "supplier". This really is a rare opportunity to listen to a world class business speaker and true sales expert who will deliver some great ideas for you to take back to your organisation that will have a real impact. Bhayani Bracewell and Taylor Bracewell are delighted to be sponsoring the new Business Growth Dinners in Sheffield. Bringing together business leaders across the City to hear some inspirational speakers over great food will be a fantastic opportunity to share and learn from others. Sponsoring the same initiative previously in Doncaster, we found that it enabled us to encourage many of our existing and potential clients to consider their Business Growth strategies in a relaxed and collaborative environment. As legal advisors we firmly believe that our success is built on the success of our clients and to encourage this sort of initiative is a great investment. Places are limited and are reserved for people in the roles of Chief Executive, Managing Director , Senior Partners or owners of businesses who can really implement lessons learned into their business.
