Carols by Candlelight

19th August 2012

This festive and magical evening of carols by candlelight led by Anna Wright and conducted by Mark McCombs and James Bingham, will once again be held at Ecclesall Parish Church, and takes place on Wednesday 14th December 2011.

The concert includes carol singing, Christmas music and readings, with mince pies and mulled wine after the service. Dobcroft Junior School and All Saints Ecclesall Junior Choir return to perform for a second year and will be joined for the first time by Carterknowle Junior and Arbourthorne Community Primary Schools. We have new performances from the University of Sheffield Chamber Choir and Sheffield all girls A Capella group Sonitas. The Sheffield Teachers' Operatic Society will join us again to complete this spectacular line-up. Local company Henry Boot has kindly agreed to sponsor the event, which will allow us to maximise funds for the Trust. Tickets are still available priced £7 adults, £3 children and £5 concessions. Please contact Sarah in the fundraising office on 0114 2352678 or email sarahk@whirlowhallfarm.org
