Cash for Kids Superhero Takeover Day at Magna

24th April 2019

Not all heroes wear capes.

.. Everyone can be a superhero, not just when you wear a costume. Superpowers are inside waiting to be released. Join Hallam FM Cash for Kids for a Superhero Takeover at Magna Science Adventure Centre on Sunday 5th May 2019. Ignite imaginations with a science-fuelled day inspired by everyone's favourite comic book characters. Now in its fifth year, Cash for Kids Superhero Day is part of a national fundraising campaign and has so far raised over £100,000 for sick and disadvantaged children across South Yorkshire. Allan Ogle Cash for Kids Charity Manager said, -We are incredibly excited for the Superhero Day Takeover. I know with all the activities planned families will have a day to remember! We hope to raise over £25,000 for our campaign this year to help local sick and disadvantaged children and this event will be a huge contribution to help make a difference. A full action day out is planned for adults and kids alike. The famous Transformers Optimus Prime truck will be rolling into Magna's monumental Big Hall alongside fun and games from the Hallam FM Street Team, live DJ entertainment, and meet and greet opportunities with some of your favourite superheroes. There will also be hands-on superhero themed activities and science workshops along with chance to bounce and slide on the ever popular Magna Mayhem giant inflatables. All of this plus full access to the whole of Magna Science Adventure Centre. Enjoy an interactive experience packed with exhibits and fascinating displays exploring the wonders of science and technology as well as the huge outdoor adventure play area of SCI-TEK. Kevin Tomlinson, Magna Managing Director said, -What an honour to host the 2019 Cash for Kids Superhero Day here at Magna. Superheroes and science are a winning combination for a brilliant fun day out! The special fundraising event is on Sunday 5th May from 10.00 until 17.00 and tickets are just £10 per person available from www.visitmagna.co.uk/whats-on
