Cavendish encouraging businesses to Team Up and Game On

17th January 2024

Cavendish Cancer Care have launched their 2024 fundraising challenge - Team Up Game On. A competitive fundraising challenge throughout 2024, encouraging you to get sporty and make a difference.

2024 sees big sporting events take centre stage across the world, including the Olympics and UEFA Euro Championships. Cavendish Cancer Care are challenging their community to get sporty and make a difference throughout the year.

Team Up, Game On is a fundraising challenge to inspire and encourage you to raise money for Cavendish. With so many sporting events in the 2024 calendar, why not create our own sporting challenge right here in Sheffield. Whether you’re tuning in to the Olympics, fancy yourself as the next Snooker Champion, or want to get your team together for the ultimate Paper Airplane Competition on World Paper Airplane Day (yes, that is a thing!). They have handpicked some events that are happening that you could link your fundraising challenge with – https://cavcare.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Team-Up-Game-On-Calendar.pdf

They are calling on all businesses, sports team and organisations looking to do something charitable. This challenge is for everyone as they will be suggesting everything from 30-minute fundraisers, to lunch club collectors to larger moneymakers.

Plus, there are plenty of sponsorship opportunities throughout the year too. Take a look at them here – https://cavcare.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/TUGO-Sponsorship-for-Website.pdf

PS. what is a challenge without awards!? That’s right, they’ll be throwing a proper party to celebrate all your sporting acheivements!
