Celebrating Innovation within Glass and the Supply Chain

13th May 2015

The British Glass Manufacturers' Confederation, the trade association for the UK glass industry, acts as the sector's focal point, playing a principal role in communicating the concerns and aspirations of its members to the Government, the European Union and other external interest groups and trade bodies.

It represents both manufacturers and suppliers of the glass industry in the UK, promoting glass as the material of choice and ensuring that both the industry and its products remain competitive and innovative. Sheffield city region has a strong manufacturing heritage and glass itself is linked with many other companies and industries within the supply chain, for example, raw materials suppliers, food and drink brand owners and logistics companies.
