Central Technology Quiz their Customers on the Cloud

12th September 2013

Locally based Managed IT and Communications solutions provider Central Technology, is launching a campaign this month to find out how much businesses actually know about the cloud.

The cloud refers to a decentralised space where companies can store data which can be accessed anywhere, provided there is an internet connection. Central Technology noted that the term 'the cloud' can mean very different things to different people, so they have decided to survey businesses to find out exactly how much they know about the cloud. The cloud survey is available online and for every completed survey Central Technology will donate 50p to Fairplay, a Chesterfield based charity which improves the lives of children and young people. Madeleine Thomas, Central Technology's Marketing Manager said; -We're interested to see just how much local businesses know about the cloud, as the term has become so generic over the past few years and there is a lot of confusion around what it actually means. The aim of the survey is to not only gauge the level of awareness businesses have but also to reveal how businesses are currently using the cloud.  I'm excited about what the survey will reveal as it will really help us better understand our customers.
