Charity Football Match - Wednesday 29th May 2019

28th May 2019

Westfield FC — our home-grown football team — are ready to take on 'the world' in next week's Centenary charity football match in support of St Luke's Hospice and CALM A team of 20 of our colleagues have been training hard over the last few months to prepare for the big match against 'the world' — a team made up of some of our corporate customers from the local area.

At Westfield Health, giving back to those around us is a key part of our Purpose and Mission, and we'll be supporting two nominated charities at the event; Sheffield's St Luke's Hospice, and CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a national charity helping to lead the movement against male suicide. If you'd like to support our fundraising now from the comfort of your desk, please take a look at the Just Giving pages that have been set up: click here for St Luke's Hospice, and click here for CALM. Can I help? If you'd like to help support the event and the great charities its raising money for we are looking for prize donations for the raffle that will be raising some extra money for the two charities. If you would like to donate a prize, or know any local business' that would be willing to donate any amount/ prize please let me know. There will be some collection buckets on the night to help raise money for the event's nominated charities, so any generosity from spectators would be massively appreciated. When and where is the match? The match will be taking place next week on Wednesday 29th May at beautiful downtown Bramall Lane — home of the Premier League's Sheffield United. The doors to Sheffield United's Platinum Suite (accessible via the ground's main car park on Cherry Street) open for spectators at 5:30pm ahead of the 7pm kick-off. As soon as the Platinum Suite opens its doors, the bar will be open for refreshments and will be serving until 90 minutes after the final whistle — but please keep in mind that there won't be any food available. What's in it for you? • The feeling of doing something great to help 2 fantastic charities • Publicity at the match and during our after match presentation • Entry to the match is free and you're more than welcome to come and see us play
