Charity of the Year Shortlist

13th August 2013

We have our shortlist! Our panel of judges spent an afternoon last week reducing the record number of entries to just 5 who will go forward to do their presentations on 10 September: Greentop Circus Centre Sheffield Alcohol Support Service Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind St Luke's Hospice Support Dogs The panel, who have generously given up their time, have been taken from a cross section of our members and are: Kerry Grundy - A For Appointments, Gary Adshead - Burngreave Building Co, Paul Allison - Fast Signs, Graham Nevin - NatWest and Vanessa Marshall - Sheffield Hallam University.

In addition, Trevor Vels at the Copthorne Hotel has generously donated rooms and refreshments for the judging process. The quality of entries was especially high this year and it was a difficult decision so good luck to the shortlisted charities and we hope that those that were unsuccessful will try again next year.
