CIM South Yorkshire Presidential Debate Announced

4th March 2015

CIM South Yorkshire has today announced the line-up for its annual debate sponsored by Elevation Sales and Marketing Recruitment, which will be held on 17 March; including speakers from some of the region's leading and most recognisable businesses names.

The speakers are: Aisha Khan, former head of marketing for YPO, Roland Barzegar, finance director at Plusnet, and Rob Armitage, head of commercial development at the Institute of Environmental Management and former head of sales for Pearson Ltd. -We have got three fantastic guest speakers, said Philip Knowles, Acting Chair, -And our aim is to spark an insightful and enlightening debate. Together they will be asked specific questions, by director of sales and marketing, Sarah-Lee Neesam of Elevation Recruitment, surrounding the commercial world and the impact on their teams. This will include topics such as profit and loss, prioritising your budget, the impact of sales and marketing on turnover, the finance teams' impact on marketing campaigns and much more. Sarah-Lee explained, -Just like a presidential or parliamentary debate, we will open this up to the floor so that delegates can ask any burning questions or issues they may have. Such as: Does your marketing strategy tick all the right boxes for your finance director? How do your promotional activities impact upon your sales teams? How can the finance, marketing and sales team support each other's aims? Aptly named Presidential Debate, the event is open to members and non-members of the CIM. For more information or to book go to www.cim.co.uk/68420 or call 01628 427340 during office hours.
