City Region Business Awards 2013

1st July 2013

With less than a week to go to the City Region's very first Business Awards event.

We are pleased to tell you that the event has fast become an excellent showcase for the best of the best businesses in the Region with this year over 60 companies vying for prizes. This event is quite distinct from the Sheffield Business Awards held in December. Winners of those awads go up against winners from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Chesterfield etc for the prestige of being the regional champion! The awards will take place on 4 July at Ponds Forge, Sheffield commencing with a champagne reception at 6.45pm. We are also pleased to announce that our guest speaker for the evening will be Sir Howard Davies who has served as Director of the London School of Economics and as Chairman of the Financial Services Authority. The Awards ceremony will then be hosted by BBC Look North's Clare Frisby. Tickets are still available for the awards. Individual tickets are £60 plus vat and a table of 10 is £600 plus vat. Please book them by contacting Emma Angell, Regional Promotions Manager via email on emma.angell@jpress.co.uk or phone: 07801 195407 or 0114 252 1321.
