Clean N Bright Team Expands Services with New Asbestos Removal Training

17th November 2024

Clean N Bright is excited to announce their new service to add to their ever-expanding specialized cleaning services.

After a recent flood in a local school, our team was called in to clear the carnage but soon hit a problem with floor tiles made with asbestos, which was a common material used when many of these schools were built. With the training our team has at Clean N Bright we not only got the job done but also kept the school open.
Residents and businesses in Sheffield can now access safe, professional asbestos removal services, thanks to our newly trained team. Clean N Bright can manage asbestos-related risks in buildings and construction sites throughout the region.

This training was initiated to meet a growing demand for safe asbestos management services, particularly in older buildings where asbestos was frequently used in construction. Recognizing the need to protect both workers and the community from the hazards of asbestos exposure, the team has undergone extensive coursework and practical training, including identifying asbestos, containment practices, safe removal methods, and proper waste disposal.

"We’re thrilled to be able to offer this crucial service to our community," said Wayne Barlow, spokesperson for the team. "Asbestos exposure is a significant health risk, and we are now fully trained and certified to manage it safely and effectively. Our goal is to reduce that risk for our clients by providing a professional, reliable asbestos removal service."

With their new qualifications, the team meets all regulatory standards set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for asbestos handling, ensuring that clients in the Sheffield area receive a service that prioritizes safety and compliance. The service will cater to a range of needs, from residential and commercial renovations to full-scale demolitions, addressing the growing demand for safe asbestos management across the area.

In addition to protecting workers and clients, the new asbestos removal service aims to promote broader community awareness about asbestos risks. By offering an accessible service in Sheffield and surrounding areas, the team hopes to encourage proactive management of asbestos risks in older buildings, reducing long-term health hazards and contributing to a safer environment.
