Market-leading deconstruction and demolition contractors Colemans have selected multi-award winning digital agency The SEO Works to bolster their online visibility through a combination of SEO and Digital PR, in their 60th year in business.

From humble beginnings in its native city of Birmingham, Colemans has grown to become an award winning contractor that is recognised on a global scale. With over 60 years in operation, it’s safe to say that the experience accrued by the team has allowed the company to become a market leader within their field and spearhead many of the innovative changes that have happened in the deconstruction and demolition sector.

The ever-increasing dominance of digital channels within marketing has meant that many traditional companies such as Colemans have had to act fast in adapting their approach. This need to improve their digital presence materialised in the form of a brand new website for the contracting giants, giving them a blank canvas to build further work from. In order to get the new website in front of the right audiences, Colemans decided to look towards an external service provider to help improve visibility - this is where The SEO Works came in.

Following an initial enquiry for assistance with SEO and Digital PR, came an in-depth audit from the expert team at The SEO Works. The findings identified a number of opportunities that could be taken in order to help meet the needs of Colemans - all of which were highlighted within a competitive pitch process. Once the dust had settled, the leading contractor felt that the level of detail and expertise provided made the Sheffield-based agency a clear choice to lead this campaign.

On the decision, Owner Mark Coleman said “we chose The SEO Works as they demonstrated a clear understanding of our needs, backed up with experience, resource and fantastic energy from a company that are clearly market leading in their field.  We are really excited to see what results they can bring to our business.”

One of the main concerns that Colemans expressed was the lack of control when it came to reaching their intended audience with their new digital presence. With this in mind, the award-winning SEO team will look to create a bespoke keyword plan that will include a number of targeted terms to ensure that the correct users are found.

“The opportunity to work with a historic name like Colemans is one that we will truly relish here. Making companies stand out from the competition within the search engine results is what we do best, and working with a completely new website really allows us to implement our award-winning approach. Our ability to seamlessly collaborate between the SEO and Digital PR team allows us to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively. This is a really exciting campaign for us and the team can’t wait to make a start!” said Alex Hill, Sales Director of The SEO Works.

The SEO Works specialises in SEO, PPC, Digital PR, Web and Paid Social advertising and works with many household names such as Denby, Decathlon, and Jessops.
