Connect with future talent at King Ecgbert School Careers Fair – 10 July 2025

11th June 2025

King Ecgbert School is inviting local employers, training providers and education organisations to take part in its flagship Careers Fair on Thursday 10 July.

This popular event brings together over 500 pupils from Years 9 to 12, all at critical points in their education journey. By taking a stand at the fair, you’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with enthusiastic and curious young people exploring their future pathways.

  • Year 9 students will soon begin their GCSEs and are starting to consider future options.
  • Year 10 students are preparing to apply for post-16 destinations.
  • Year 12 students are already thinking ahead to university, training and employment after Sixth Form.

The event is a chance to inspire the next generation, raise awareness of your sector, and help young people understand the routes into your industry. Previous attendees have included employers from tech, creative, healthcare, engineering, public services, and more.

All stand holders will be provided with two tables and chairs in our Jessica Ennis Sports Hall. Refreshments are provided throughout the morning.

Event schedule – Thursday 10 July:

  • 10:00–11:00am: Year 9
  • 11:30am–12:30pm: Year 10
  • 12:30–1:30pm: Year 12
(Plus informal access during break time)
