He has advised management teams in buy-out transactions across a range of sectors and deal sizes from <£1m up to £50m, and advised clients on raising debt, equity and mezzanine finance. Peter Crawford, Corporate Partner at Freeths LLP  Peter heads Freeths' Sheffield corporate team.  He previously worked in Cambridge and Brussels,  returning to Sheffield in 2007. Peter's background is in corporate finance.  He has a broad range of experience of company acquisitions and disposals, MBO's, refinancing and company law generally and has acted for a wide portfolio of both local and national clients.Peter was described as -a pleasure to work with by the 2014 edition of the Legal 500.  The 2015 Legal 500 notes he is -lauded for delivering on timescales, promises and costs. Examples of Peter's recent deals include the sale of the Gordon Lamb motor group, and the acquisition of Hardy UK Limited by Arkote Limited. Lizzie Ryan, Investment Manager at Foresight Group  - Lizzie joined Foresight in 2015 from Synova Capital where she worked as an investment manager focused on lower mid-market private equity buyouts. Prior to this Lizzie worked in Corporate Finance at Deloitte for six years. She has worked on a number of mid and large cap M&A and restructuring deals with particular focus on financial services and consumer business. Lizzie sits on the boards of Foresight portfolio companies MPL, Poppy & Jacks, and AlwaysOn. She is a chartered accountant and has a first class degree in Economics from Newcastle University.
