CSI Expands in Europe

30th July 2013

CSI Lifecycle Services has expanded its IT recycling footprint again, this time in Europe.

A new 1,600m² IT recycling facility in Bratislava is open for business providing IT recycling services to customers in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.  CSI now has three IT recycling facilities in Europe, including two in Sheffield, which form an important part of CSI's global coverage.  CSI Lifecycle Services has had a successful year, winning IT recycling customers from the local and central government sectors, as well as with multinational businesses, UK law firms and the education sector.  Take up for CSI's hard drive shredding service launched last year has been good with assignments completed for major banks, top accountancy firms and FTSE 100 companies.  The vehicle has been shredding confidential data held on computer hard drives as far afield as Frankfurt and CSI is in further discussions with various companies about shredding opportunities throughout Europe.  Local companies are also able to gain the peace of mind of shredding old computer hard drives, back up tape and other items by bringing their items to CSI's offices in Sheffield.  Barry Naylor, MD of CSI Lifecycle Services commented: -Sensitive data held on a computer drive is no different to that held on paper.  Our customers don't want to hand this data over to another company to be destroyed out of sight at a later date.  We are able to shred the media while they watch before arranging for the waste to be recycled in a compliant way.  Local businesses interested in secure destruction of data and IT recycling can contact mikedavies@csileasing.co.uk, please quote Sheffield Chamber of Commerce in your email.
