Darnall Post Office

8th October 2013

is an award winning community run post office owned by local charity and Chamber member Darnall Forum.

We reopened the post office, on the ring road at Darnall, for the benefit of local residents and businesses because we are committed to the regeneration of Darnall. If you support us you're helping the many local residents who depend on the post office to pay bills, charge their electric and gas meters and draw their pensions. We also provide a convenient postal service to residents and businesses alike. DROP & GO is a new service which Post Office Ltd has just launched. Business customers no longer need to queue but can open a Drop & Go account, operated with a card allowing you to drop off all your parcels, get regular discounts and have them processed by us later. You can leave instructions about how you want your mails sent. Accounts can be opened with as little as £5. If you are a business in the Darnall area have you considered that using our services shows your commitment to the local community? when a customer isn't at home Royal Mail and Parcelforce deliveries can be redirected to the local post office for convenient collection? some customers will pay a premium to have their parcel delivered quickly? Make sure this option is advertised to your customers to avoid losing out to competitors! We can help you choose the right service for your requirements Even if you prefer to send most of your mails using a cheaper service, why not use our priority services which can guarantee next day delivery for urgent or expensive items? Drop and Go accounts are ideal for special items when ordinary mail services just won't do but you dread having to queue.
