DBL Logistics retain UPN platinum status

28th January 2015

DBL Logistics have retained United Pallet Network (UPN) platinum member status for the second consecutive year.

DBL Logistics, based at their purpose built Huntsman Depot on Tinsley Park Road, is a founding member of the UPN network which was established in 2001 and currently has more than 75 depots throughout the UK and delivers into 26 countries across Europe. Platinum status is given to members who have shown the highest levels of delivery, customer service, investment and administration consistently over a three-year period. The company was also awarded second place in the Hub Depot of the Year and third place in the Members Depot of the Year at the UPN annual awards ceremony which brought together more than 330 members and guests at Chesford Grange in Warwick. Sales director Earl Robinson said: -We are proud to have retained our UPN platinum status for a second year in a row, and we look back on the last year of business with a great deal of pride. -The move into our new Sheffield Depot over 12 months ago has enabled us to expand and grow as a business. We are now in a position to deliver more consignments in and out of the UPN network on a daily basis. -As we start the new year we are already seeing an increase in this area and we look forward to further establishing ourselves as one of the top companies in the pallet network sector in the Sheffield City Region. Glenn Boldy, UPN Operations Director, said: -The awards are testament to the support and commitment demonstrated by our members, which is essential as we continue to deliver a first class service to our customers. -I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dave, Earl and the rest of the team at DBL on their fantastic achievement. UPN look forward to working with all 75 members throughout 2015 and beyond as we continue to strive for excellence.
