Designing the future of logistics

Y Accelerator is pleased to invite you to a logistics challenge event designed to bring together key regional players in the logistic sector with entrepreneurs and developers looking to identify key logistics opportunities.

During the two hour event attendees will seek to identify industry challenges and work towards innovative solutions, highlighting new business opportunities. Facilitating the event will be Gordon Macrae of Loadhog and Gripple, providing a unique insight into the sector. In an ever changing world of increasing demand patterns, changing distribution channels and the availability of easy to use data, opportunities existing to develop solutions within the logistics and data segment. The Sheffield City region is sited in a key logistics hub area of the country with large mail, internet and airport facilities. Our vision is for the Sheffield City Region to be a global market leader in the logistics and data sector, providing both hardware and software solutions to support this vision. Who should attend? After the event attendees are encouraged to continue collaboration to capitalise on opportunities in the sector. The Y-Accelerator provides additional opportunities through intensive 12 week programmes where participants work with experts to refine and validate ideas, mapping out a clear route to market for a defined customer proposition. The headline challenges identified will be showcased on the Sheffield City Region Growth hub website encouraging interested parties to build solutions themselves or to collaborate with other parties to work up solutions for future programmes.
