DIY Small Claims - an interative workshop

28th August 2013

Commercial litigation experts at Sheffield's Taylor&Emmet LLP are holding a mock small claim hearing to demonstrate how the real thing may unfold.

Local businesses are invited to attend this interactive event, held at the Clumber Park Hotel near Worksop, to learn more about the small claims process. Based on a common type of commercial dispute arising from the sale of goods, the workshop will cover court documents, how to prepare for a hearing, giving evidence and cross examining witnesses, summing up a case and final judgement. Taylor&Emmet's legal specialists will guide delegates through the small claims process, providing tips and advice highlighting does and don'ts at a hearing. Attendees will also have an opportunity to question witnesses, the parties and the judge. For further information about this free event, or to make a reservation, please contact Taylor&Emmet's marketing & events team, on (0114) 218 4000 or visit www.tayloremmet.co.uk
