Efficiency North welcomes new Chief of Corporate Services

13th May 2020

Social housing consortium Efficiency North Holdings Limited were pleased to welcome Jonathan Shaw to the team at the beginning of May in the newly created role of Chief of Corporate Services.

Jonathan joins the consortium at a pivotal time when the organisation is embarking on its next ambitious 3-year business cycle after succeeding in achieving its ambitious compound growth target of 200% in the previous cycle.

Jonathan has over 10 years of experience in the social housing sector, initially as Director of Corporate Services and then Joint Chief Operating Officer at Sheffield Homes, and most recently as Director of Investment and Business Services at Nottingham City Homes. He started his career as a finance professional within various manufacturing engineering companies before moving into senior management.

He leads a team of dedicated professionals within Efficiency North developing Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, IT, Membership Development and the EN:Able Communities charity.

Jonathan commented,

“I’m very excited be on board and very much look forward to my new role developing the organisation at this time. Working in a dynamic sector driven by strong social values closely aligns with my own personal goals of adding value whilst giving back to the communities Efficiency North works within. It’s been an unusual start to a new job in the current crisis, sitting in the same seat as before in my home, working and meeting the team in a virtual environment, made easier by receiving a warm welcome.”

Lee Parkinson, Chief Executive Efficiency North, commented,

”We’re all delighted to welcome Jonathan to the team. His skills and experience will be a tremendous asset, strengthening our capacity to carry the organisation forward through the next exciting step in Efficiency North’s evolutionary growth and development.”
