Sheffield Chamber are pleased to support the final year Event Management students at Sheffield Hallam University in bringing this event to the businesses of Sheffield! Please support them! Events Industry Networking Event has been created to bring together local Sheffield businesses who operate within the events industry, with the opportunity to develop relationships and support local businesses.

The event also aims to raise money and awareness on behalf of Cavendish Cancer Care a worthy local Sheffield charity who support local people who are living with cancer, giving them and their families the chance to talk in confidence and offer complementary therapies to support their recovery. Operating since 1991, Cavendish have been helping people across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. For more information please click here. SLEAK Events is a group of 5 final year Events Management students at Sheffield Business School, aiming to raise money and awareness for Cavendish Cancer Care while fostering new relationships in the Sheffield events industry. On Thursday 12th March 2015, they are hosting an Events Industry Networking event at Couch, Campo Lane which will bring together a cross-section of events industry suppliers including events agencies, venues, caterers, AV companies and many more. It is an excellent opportunity to expand your network of contacts and hopefully set up new relationships - all while supporting a fantastic cause. The event will feature a prize draw with some great prizes to be won including a weekend getaway for 2 at a top hotel in Whitby, 2 tickets to Catfish & The Bottlemen at the O2 Academy, IMAX tickets, a David Mellor cheese knife and many more.
