Expansion Plans in Place for CMD Ltd

Manufacturing firm CMD Ltd has announced that it will expand its operations by bringing Preston based technical and sales staff to its Head Office in Rotherham.
CMD integrated its manufacturing and warehousing operation over 18 months ago and by bringing the complete technical and sales teams under one roof, the company will now offer a fully streamlined service from one location. The decision to relocate parts of the business was not taken lightly but the move will ensure greater clarity for customers who can now contact CMD Ltd headquarters for all of the company's services including ergonomic, cable management and office power solutions. These changes at the company are part of a wider plan for growth as CMD Ltd plans to expand globally. Former Head of Sales Andy Pearson has made the move to Head of Export and will focus on expanding CMD Ltd's reach across the globe. Andy has been part of the CMD Ltd team for three and a half years and prior to this he spent over 16 years at Legrand, a leading French manufacturer and a key competitor for CMD. Jon Holding will take up the position of Head of Sales, Jon has returned to CMD after a briefly exploring other opportunities, and had previously worked for the company for nine years. These changes indicate exciting times at CMD Ltd and the move and team expansion reinforces the company's 2013/14 business plan of 'one strategy, one brand, one business, one operational base with one prestigious London showroom'.
