Fancy a charity dive from a 10m board on your wedding day?

23rd July 2013

Inspiring Women Board member Siobhan Newton has been committed to the Charity fundraising diving event, training weekly at Ponds Forge for the big day.

When most brides are sipping Champagne after the formal proceedings, being congratulated by proud guests, and having loving photos taken for that empty frame above the sofa, Siobhan will be donning her swimsuit and preparing for the big jump. Following the nerve wracking dive, Siobhan will then dry off and return to her wedding celebrations. Kate Stephenson, Chair of the Inspiring Women Board said -Siobhan is never one to let people down. Once she's set her mind on something, you can't stop her, even if it is her wedding day! Her Partner Martin is so supportive of her that they've embraced the deviation from the planned proceedings, and will be celebrating their marriage in a rather unique fashion! -There are not many people who can say they gave up part of their wedding day to raise money for Charity. Let's make the sacrifice worthwhile and raise as much cash for St Luke's Hospice as we can. Siobhan will be diving on the 19th September 2013 at Ponds Forge. Tickets are available from The Arena, and all sponsor donations are hugely appreciated as they'll go towards the appeal for a new in-patient unit.
