Feel Better, Work Better with Renewal Counselling and Training Ltd

23rd January 2019

It was during my work as a counsellor in the NHS that I realised that a new approach to staff wellbeing was needed.

I was seeing more and more clients that were having problems at work. They were feeling stressed and anxious, and the way they felt was clearly affecting both their personal and work lives. Though in counselling we were able to work effectively on their personal issues, I was left wondering if something could be done to help their organisations also: if my clients were struggling with their work, that would obviously affect those around them. When I researched the problem it became clear that, with work life ever more difficult and competitive, many organisations are struggling to make progress due to the pressure faced by their staff. It was to address this that I joined with others to found Renewal Counselling and Training Ltd., a company dedicated to helping organisations of all types enhance staff wellbeing, thus helping them meet their aims and objectives more easily. We approach this in two ways. Our counselling is of great help in supporting those staff members that are already badly affected by workplace stress; it can help them get back to place where they feel better and can contribute more effectively to their organisation. Our training is useful in increasing wellbeing, so staff don't get to the stage where they need therapy. Based on tried and tested counselling principles, it helps staff deal with the pressure they face in their work, whether from difficult clients, tight deadlines or challenging targets. If staff are better able to handle their work, then their organisation will function much more effectively. To assist you in finding out how we can help, we're pleased to offer a free, no-obligation consultation to all chamber members. Our service is fully bespoke, so you can be sure that your organisation will receive precisely that package it needs to start addressing these serious workplace issues. To book your consultation, simply get in touch. We look forward to working with you to help your staff feel better, and your organisation work better.
