First corporate member for Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust

23rd January 2019

Telemarketing giant Ant Marketing has become the first company to join Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust's corporate membership scheme.

As well as supporting the trust which operates Kelham Island Museum, Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and Shepherd Wheel - businesses that sign up to the scheme will get to enjoy a number of benefits. These benefits are dependent on the level of membership chosen, but include private tours of Kelham Island Museum for staff and use of one of the attractions for a business photo-shoot. Corporate members will also be named on their own plaque which will be displayed on the 'Our Partners' wall inside Kelham Island Museum. Ant Marketing is headed by CEO Anthony Hinchliffe, and provides tailor-made business telemarketing solutions from its headquarters on St Mary's Gate, Sheffield, and offices on Sheaf Quay, in the city. Anthony said: -Kelham Island Museum is truly a gem Sheffield at its absolute best! The reason we decided to become corporate members was due to our admiration for the efforts that the board of trustees and team exert to ensure this amazing museum has a sustainable future. -We bought the 1910 Sheffield Simplex which is exhibited at Kelham Island Museum and is actually one of only three which exist worldwide. -This brought me into contact with the talented team at Kelham Island Museum and their enthusiasm for the place is rather infectious! Anthony added after becoming the trust's first corporate member, he and the Ant Marketing team are looking forward to using some of the benefits their membership offers. -We look forward to visiting regularly with colleagues, family and friends - and we hope to host many events there in the future, he said. Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust Director Helen Featherstone, said it was wonderful that a company which already had a strong connection with Kelham Island Museum, had signed up as the trust's first corporate member. -It's absolutely fantastic that Anthony and the team at Ant Marketing have committed to supporting the museums, and further strengthen their ties with us here, she said. -We would love to welcome other businesses in the city to the membership and work with them to protect and promote the story of Sheffield's industrial heritage.
