First World War Commemoration Service

10th July 2014

David Moody, Lord-Lieutenant for South Yorkshire, has asked us to bring to your attention the attached details about the service to be held in Sheffield Cathedral on 3 August 2014 at 10.

30 a.m. to commemorate the start of the First World War, a conflict that was to have such an impact on the people of South Yorkshire. You are welcome simply to go on the day, but in order to give an idea of numbers it would be helpful if you could indicate beforehand to Sharon Burrows, Lieutenancy Coordinator (SBurrows@syjs.gov.uk), that you intend to be there. Please feel free to pass the details on to others, regardless of whether you will be able to go. Kind Regards Richard Wright Executive Director
