Passengers booking to fly from Doncaster Sheffield Airport to Belfast on the new LinksAir route can now book through their travel agents and online agents including comparison sites.

UK Regional Airline, LinksAir, has signed up to a GDS system which opens up their booking system to allow travel agents to book directly for passengers. Steve Gill, managing director of Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield, said: -This is great news for passengers as booking has been made easier thanks to LinksAir's move to appear on travel agent and online systems. -Prior to this people could only book through the LinksAir site or through the customer services team but now there are more booking opportunities available to them. Roger Hage, LinksAir Commercial Manager, commented: -We are pleased with the response we've had to these new routes so far and want to make booking as easy as possible for our passengers. -By signing up to the GDS system we have made accessing our flights even easier. Customers can book through both business and leisure travel agents, search online through booking engines and comparison sites such as Skyscanner and Opodo, through the LinksAir website or speak to us directly over the phone.
