Footprints accountancy make tracks to gather gifts for kids

11th December 2014

Staff at Sheffield business awards finalist Footprints Accountancy, based at Renishaw Hall are once again gathering gifts for underprivileged children across the region.

In what must be the most picturesque collection point in the region, stately Renishaw Hall, the Footprints team are collecting the one extra unwrapped present their clients and contacts from all over South East Sheffield and North Derbyshire are donating to Cash for Kids. Footprints founder, Julie Robinson explained, -Most us are parents on the team, and the thought of children waking up on Christmas morning without a single gift to open saddens us so much, we committed to doing something about it when we met the lovely folk at Cash for Kids. We are growing by helping others, and that's an amazing feeling. 2014 has been a fantastic year supporting clients, being nominated for awards and taking on even more staff. We are grateful so want to give something back- and we are delighted our generous clients think the same way. The Mission Christmas campaign by Cash for Kids gives Star readers and radio listeners an opportunity to donate a new gift for a local child aged 0-18 who would otherwise go without at Christmas. Cash can be donated online, in person or over the phone. Local Social Services and other agencies identify the children most at need, many of whom are in care homes and refuges. Charity manager Louise Davies added, -We really appreciate Footprints Accountancy for being a brilliant Mission Christmas drop-off. Cash for Kids is hoping to support over 16,000 local children this year and we couldn't do it without the help of local businesses like Footprints. Thank you all for keeping the Christmas Dream alive in so many young lives. The drop off is at the Footprints office: The Sir George Room in the Stable Block at Renishaw Hall S21 3WB by Monday 15 December or at Hallam FM Herries Road S6 1RH by Wednesday 17 December. www.hallamfm.co.uk/missionchristmas.
