Formal Name Change - Hi-Point Access Ltd.

15th April 2013

In the ever changing market place within which Hi-Point operates it has been decide that the name of Hi-Point Scaffolding Ltd does not now reflect the position of the company.

It is felt that the term Scaffolding is far too limiting in the many and varied products that we have on offer. Hi-Point is a brand which we would wish to place at the forefront of both new and old customers' thoughts for the provision of all types of access solutions. The company has a rich history of hire and sales in the field of Aluminium towers and is now well placed as a market leader and innovator in Advanced Guard Rail technology. We are also proud to announce that our managing director Mr Chris Blantern will be taking the chair of PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers & Manafactures Association) in June of this year. This highly respected trade association will be providing further added value to the aluminium access tower market with renewed vigour at a testing time for the working at height industry. The HSE are keen to develop its already excellent relationship with the association. Our fleet of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms includes Ruthmann and Teupen Leo machines as well as scissor lift. The company has a highly respected and successful sister company in Hi-Point Scaffolding (Contracts) Limited who trade in traditional tube and fit but we have invested in the Layher steel System Scaffold as a product to provide another alternative. We have invested in a substantial stock of Shorguard preparatory handrail which in many circumstances will provide a roof top handrail system which negates unnecessary design costs. We are taking the notion of alternative access solutions to all our clients which will give them massive cost savings over conventional tube and fitting scaffolds and the safeguard of having the access equipment in situ for the shortest possible time frame. As such with immediate effect the company will trade under the name of Hi-Point Access Ltd. We are confident of continuing to provide the most efficient, professional and yet prudent service to all customers large or small.'
