WorkRight UK is a certified right to work technology solution designed to help UK employers stay compliant and streamline their employment verification process.

Chamber Patron, Fragomen, are excited to announce the launch of Fragomen WorkRight UK— a certified right to work technology solution designed to help UK employers stay compliant and streamline their employment verification process. This is increasingly important as governments globally are using right to work legislation to protect their resident labour forces and demonstrate rigour around migration issues.

Some of the key features of Workright UK include:

  • Mobile or desktop application
  • Initiate single or multiple requests
  • Identification and facial recognition technology matching the worker to their documentation
  • Document authenticity validation

  • Mortality check

Workright - UK Functionality

The Workright - UK is designed to validate right to work for:

  • Individuals with a valid UK and Irish passport
  • Individuals who hold electronic status or a UK Biometric Residence Permit or card or status under the EU Settlement Scheme and must have their RTW status validated through the UK Home Office’s right to work portal.

Important to note: Following updated guidance and confirmation from UKVI, employers are currently restricted from outsourcing any part of the right to work process for those who are required to present a share code or original documentation. Where it is identified that this has taken place, no statutory defence will be deemed to exist. This applies to all employers relying on 3rd party services for right to work checks. We are having strategic conversations at a very senior level with UKVI and shall keep everyone updated as and when we have updates.  In the interim, we can provide a number of administrative solutions to clients and are happy to talk these through with you.
