National law firm Freeths has advised FTS Recovery Limited in relation to the appointment of Marco Piacquadio and Alan Coleman as joint administrators of RBDM Limited, trading as luxury fashion brand “Roksanda”, and the sale of the business to The Brand Group.

Popular London Fashion Week label Roksanda made a name for itself as a high-end UK fashion and accessories boutique after being founded by Roksanda Ilincic MBE in 2005.

The Brand Group is a global consumer-driven brand development and operating business headed up by fashion entrepreneur and brand builder Damian Hopkins CBE.

The Freeths team in Sheffield, led by Restructuring & Insolvency Partner Oliver Jackson and supported by Senior Associate Thomas Childs, advised FTS Recovery on this transaction, which has resulted in the safeguarding of employees’ jobs and the rescue of the business and its iconic brand.

Oliver Jackson said:

"Following a very busy start to the financial year for Freeths’ Restructuring & Insolvency practice, it has been a pleasure to work with Marco Piacquadio, Alan Coleman and Jordan Martine of FTS Recovery on the rescue of this iconic brand during what is a turbulent time for the sector.”
