Freeths advises the selling shareholders of Access Building Products Group on majority acquisition by Röko AB
Leading law firm Freeths has advised the shareholders of Access Building Products Group Ltd (ABP Group) on the sale of 85 of the business to Swedish investment firm Röko AB.
The remaining 15 will be retained by Managing Director Bob Elderton.
ABP Group, headquartered in Tockwith near York, is the parent company of Access Building Products Ltd, Jupiter Blue Ltd, House of Canopies Ltd and GRP Products Ltd. The group is a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of specialist products for commercial and residential buildings, particularly in access panels and door canopies. It employs 88 people, operates from two UK manufacturing sites, and has consolidated annual sales of approximately £15m.
Röko, headquartered in Sweden and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, owns 32 companies across Europe and has a strong track record of acquiring and growing specialist businesses.
The Freeths team was led by Corporate Partner Andy Francey and Corporate Managing Associate Megan Atack.
