Local recruitment agency, Glu Recruit, have partnered with Business & Education Together to change the face of work experience for young people across five schools in Rotherham.

Local recruitment agency, Glu Recruit, have partnered with Business & Education Together to change the face of work experience for young people across five schools in Rotherham.

Business & Education Together are a Not for Profit company who strive to provide young people across South Yorkshire with a dedicated Employer Engagement and Work Related Learning service.

They pride themselves on being passionate about supporting the young people of South Yorkshire in becoming enterprising employable individuals.

Glu Recruit recognise the importance of early careers and are working collaboratively with B&E Together to reach businesses in Sheffield and Rotherham.

They will be channeling their resources into educating businesses about the benefits of offering students work experience, tasks to assign on work experience and the importance of students having a business reference for future employment.

Beryl Henshaw, Managing Director at B&E Together, commented on the partnership, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Glu Recruit to work together on such an important project.

“Now more than ever, young people need our business communities’ support and inspiration. Young people will help strengthen and bring new innovations into our future-changing workforce and I look forward to working more closely with Glu to achieve our goal.”
