16th February 2021

As part of their strategic development plan to emerge strongly from the impact of Covid-19 on the business travel sector, Good Travel Management announce that they have become the latest member of the Global travel network, Lufthansa City Center.

As a Travel Management Company headquartered near to Hull, East Yorkshire specialising in providing corporate travel solutions to SME and Marine and Energy clients around the UK, the news is a positive step in their plans to further strengthen their operations and services to clients. With a global network of over 570 offices in 90 countries and a turnover of approximately 5.3 billion Euro’s Lufthansa City Center work with their members to manage global customers in many industry sectors and the addition of Good Travel Management UK into their network strengthens both organisations in many ways.

Kevin Harrison, Managing Director of Good Travel Management, said of the new partnership: ‘Since first having dialogue with Lufthansa City Center in late 2020 to explore becoming one of their UK representatives we have been highly impressed by their approach to doing business, their professionalism and the strength of both their network and the global clients they work with. Becoming a member of Lufthansa City Center will benefit our growing client base through the ability to work multi-country with them, as well as giving us access to a global marine travel network of members in countries such as Greece, the Philippines and many more. As our marine and offshore division expands further then having a global network to support this will be vital.”

Martina Groenegres, Managing Director of Lufthansa City Center International, commented: “The current global difficulties have reminded all businesses that growth cannot be taken for granted. We are therefore proud to announce that joining LCCI are Good Travel Management, based in the north of the UK. A division of the John Good Group founded in 1833, this long-established business has a heritage spanning Shipping, Logistics and Travel. Indeed, their IATA licence (1946) is possibly the oldest IATA licence in the UK. Strong in the Marine, Energy and Offshore sector, with an enviable client listing, they are one of the UK’s strongest TMC’s. Good Travel Management bring a rich source of business acumen that perfectly complements our network.”

As well as the ability to work with clients on a multi-country basis, Lufthansa City Center support their members with their global purchasing power in areas such as technology, travel suppliers and payment solutions.
