H E Barnes Donates to Food Bank

Currently, there are many people in the UK struggling to provide for themselves and families, due to a number of reasons including unemployment, low incomes, illness etc.

As part of the The Trussell Trust who provide support to over 420 foodbanks across the UK, The Chesterfield Foodbank do an amazing job, working tirelessly to provide emergency food packs for those in crisis.

Britcon (UK) Ltd, together with its Client, Chesterfield Waterside (Bolsterstone Group PLC and Chesterfield Borough Council), Bond Bryan Architects and H E Barnes Ltd, have raised and donated £530 of food essentials in the hope they can provide some support to this amazing charity and the local community.

Councillor Tricia Gilby, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to support Chesterfield Foodbank by making this donation. The team at Chesterfield Foodbank do an amazing job to support local families in these unprecedented times. “We hope this donation will be able to make a real difference to the lives of local families.”
