Hallam FC have this week appointed their first ever Community Officer.

We are delighted to welcome Josh Barnsley to Sandygate who brings a wealth of Football experience with him having worked previously at Sheffield Wednesday in a similar role. Josh said 'I am delighted to have been appointed Hallam FC's Community Officer, it's such a privilege to be a part of the clubs history. I do believe this is the first time Hallam have had an appointed Community Officer and I cannot wait to get started.' 'I think it's important for the club to show that it means business off the field as well as on the field.' Josh will be working on community activities such as schools coaching, soccer schools, Ladies' football and after-school activities. These will all help improve health and wellbeing whilst also promoting sport and inclusion within the community. The projects will also focus on improving fitness opportunities for the retired and Josh will be linking with schools, disability groups, health agencies and other local organisations and businesses across Sheffield.
