Happy New Year from Ikigai House

4th January 2019

This marks the beginning of Mantra Media's first year in their own dedicated building in the heart of Sheffield.

We'll be having a gathering here later this year, you're invited so please join us for a wonderful evening with family, friends, colleagues, partners, and customers. We're halfway through our renovations yet already, we feel very much like part of the 'furniture'. Thankfully the building has retained most of its original features making it a bit of a 'hidden' architectural gem. We currently have two wonderful office spaces in the building available to rent to businesses, charities or startups that would enjoy a dedicated office in Sheffield, three minutes walk from the station. If you know of any organisation looking for a wonderful new home, get in touch, we'd love to show them and you around. Why Ikigai? Pronounced (Ick-ee-guy) translates as your 'reason for being' and is a very Japanese philosophy for happiness. It emphasizes the central convergence of four fundamental parts of your life - What you love (your passion) What the world needs (your mission) What you are good at (your vocation) What you can get paid for (your profession) After many discussions and reflections on what the perfect name might be for our new home, this seemed like the obvious choice. It's a philosophy we've spoken of many times and is perfectly aligned with our way of working. Everyone at Mantra is encouraged to live their values, value their work and love their contribution to the world. We finished 2018 with our most powerful case studies to date. Supporting international organisations with their global reach and increasing their audience development from the hundreds to the hundreds of thousands. Taking small local startups to their next level by increasing their monthly turnover from the hundreds, to the thousands and began developing our portfolio of works in both Australia and Dubai. A few days ago, I published my yearly forecast article on SEO 2019. I've been publishing these articles for the best part of a decade and so far the forecast, unlike our weather reports has been on the button. It's already been picked internationally and republished on other news websites including India's largest recruitment website, https://careermagazine.in/seo/ If you missed it, you can see it by clicking here! We are blessed with a very loyal and engaged retained client profile. Thank you for your continued kindness and support of our values and approach. Enjoy your beginning of 2019 and may this year be your most fulfilling yet.
