Help us repair damage by vandals so everyone can enjoy summer at the Showroom.

In the early hours of Wednesday 3rd July, vandals set fire to parasols on our new terrace, completely destroying them and in turn damaging the wooden tables and scorching the decking.

We need to raise £8000 to replace the parasols and restore the terrace to it's very recent glory. The Showroom is so much more than a cinema - it is a unique asset for the city. We are the custodians of a beautiful Sheffield landmark 1930s building. We are an educational charity, showing a huge range of culturally diverse films from around the world. We offer accessible screenings for people from all walks of life. Our commercial activity helps support the work of the Charity, so over the last 2 years we have invested extensively in our bar area, both inside and out, to create a modern, welcoming space for all. Our beautiful new terrace opened less than a month ago and was being enjoyed by all sorts of people from morning to night. We have been so proud looking along Paternoster Row and seeing the positive difference this addition has made to the street. Please donate now to help repair the damage by clicking here.
