Hill Dickinson re-appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services panel of experts

Hill Dickinson's specialist health team has been re-appointed to a framework agreement to provide legal services to NHS organisations located across England.

The law firm, which will service the work from its Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and London offices, has been appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) framework agreement which enables NHS SBS member organisations access to leading law firms which offer expert legal advice and value for money. Commenting on the appointment, Hill Dickinson's Head of Healthcare Lawford Martin said: -We are proud to be re-appointed to all 10 lots of the framework agreement which will enable NHS organisations across England to access high quality legal advice at competitive rates. Our re-appointment further secures our reputation as one of England's leading health teams. There are currently 80 NHS organisations who have signed up to the NHS SBS framework ranging from CCGs, CSUs, NHS trusts, foundation trusts, community partnerships and ambulance services covering a wide area of England. Peter Akid, NHS SBS director of procurement, said: -We're delighted to have finalised the framework which has been designed so that our clients can benefit from the economies of scale we can harness through our procurement process while maintaining the highest level of expertise and consistency in the provision of legal services. Hill Dickinson has over 90 fee earners across its health sector team who advise a client base of over 100 NHS, private and voluntary sector groups.
