hlw Keeble Hawson crowned Law Firm of the Year in prestigious deals awards

hlw Keeble Hawson has been named Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Sheffield City Region Dealmakers Awards 2017, which honour top dealmakers.

The firm's 16-strong corporate team, one of the largest in the region, was the number one choice of the dealmaking community in the online nomination process completing 56 deals in the qualifying period. They include representing Sheffield rail depot equipment manufacturer, Mechan Group, in its sale to French rail transport specialist, CIM a deal which also earned the firm a shortlisting in the National/International Deal of the Year category. With a wealth of expertise spanning corporate finance and private equity transactions, joint ventures, company reorganisations along with MBOs and MBIs, hlw Keeble Hawson acted for the seller in the sale of the Umbrella Company. This deal was shortlisted for Mid-Market Deal of the Year award.
