Honouring Our Incredible Team at Owlerton Greyhound Stadium

18th December 2024

At Owlerton Greyhound Stadium, we’re all about community, loyalty, and celebrating the people who make what we do possible. Recently, we had the pleasure of recognising some amazing milestones from our team members.

To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a celebratory meal at Napoleons Casino Sheffield, raising a glass (or two!) to their hard work and dedication.

Here’s a little about the stars of the show:

Dale Gregory – 10 years
Dale started out as a steward at Owlerton Stadium and has become a vital part of our security team. His calm and professional approach has been key to keeping our stadium a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Dale Adey – 20 years
Dale’s journey is one for the books! He started on the pork sandwich stand, and through hard work and determination, he’s risen to become our Head Chef.

Joe Goodison – 20 years
Joe joined us as bar staff but found his calling on our ground staff team. His dedication behind the scenes ensures everything runs smoothly.

Michelle Hodson – 20 years
Michelle began her career at Owlerton Stadium as a tote operator and is now an essential part of our paddock staff.

Matthew Hamilton – 20 years
Matt’s story is one of true progression. Starting as a steward, he’s worked his way up to become our Venue Director, leading the team with passion and vision.

Here’s to celebrating all their achievements!
