Horasis 2017 summit announcement - Sheffield Chamber reaction

Responding to the announcement that a global leadership convention has chosen Sheffield City Region for the 2017 Horasis Summit, Alexis Krachai, Chair of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce Visitor Economy Forum, said: -This is an important and exciting opportunity for Sheffield and the wider city region.

-Playing host to a global event of this nature gives us the opportunity to showcase our region, our economy and our confidence to a global audience. -Sheffield City Region is fast becoming renowned for its strong business culture. The Horasis Summit will provide us with a strong platform to build those important collaborative relations between the west and east. I am sure everyone in the city region will look forward to welcoming delegates to next year's summit.
