Huthwaite International wins Exporter Award at Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards

Sales training specialist is top Yorkshire exporter Hoober House, Wentworth, 1st November, 2013 Huthwaite International, the world's leading company in behaviour change for salespeople and negotiators, walked away with the Yorkshire Post 'Excellence in Business' Exporter Award at last night's ceremony in Leeds.
In the past year, the Wentworth, South Yorkshire-based company has delivered training programmes to over 14,500 delegates in 65 countries, including events in some countries where it has never operated before, such as Bangladesh, Ghana, Panama, Serbia, Tanzania and Venezuela. Also in 2013, Huthwaite (famed for its invention of the globally famous SPIN® Selling Skills model) has augmented its already extensive licensee and distributor operations with new offices in Bulgaria, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Romania, Shanghai, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. Among the international clients that contributed to 76.6% of Huthwaite's turnover being exports last year are Ericsson, Bard, NTT Dimension Data, IBM, Rezidor, SAP, Siemens, SKF and UPM. In another significant testament to the success of its operations around the world, Huthwaite's Greek licensee was recognised by the Sales Institute of Greece annual awards in Athens, by winning the Sales Excellence Award for the SPIN® Selling and Account Strategy project with Siemens Hellas in February 2013. Through its ground-breaking development of the Virtual Training Campus, Huthwaite can recreate the live classroom learning experience for delegates in up to nine different locations and time zones simultaneously. It has been a significant attraction for international clients such as INVISTA, as a way to unite a multinational training cohort without the cost and time of long distance travel.
