Hydra Creative support RSPCA with Van Appeal

21st August 2018

In March 2018, the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre received news that their animal transport vehicle had been involved in an RTC while out in the Sheffield area.

The Insurance company declared the van 'A total loss' and this meant that the charity would need to replace the vehicle quickly. Phillip Morton Head of Fundraising for the charity has attended The Firm Networking meeting on a regular basis and mentioned that the charity needed a new van. The group were straight behind the initiative of taking on fundraising tasks to help secure funds for a replacement vehicle. The charity has recently purchased a new van and the networking group are now fundraising to recoup the funds for this vehicle. A small group of members were happy to have their photo taken with the new van which was unveiled at Kenwood Hall Networking meeting on 10th August and clearly displays The Firm Networking as a supporter. From left to right (Jim Sweeney, James Plummer, Simon Holmshaw (Organiser) Nicola Holmshaw, Emma Simpson and Lindsay Gambling. They have already started fundraising and one of the members James Plummer from Hydra Creative Ltd completed a 10 Mile Tough Mudder to raise funds through Just Giving and managed to secure a donation of £525.00. Here is James Plummer receiving his RSPCA Sheffield Branch Fundraising Hero medal for doing the 10 mile Tough Mudder and raising over £500, presented by Phillip Morton. The balance that The Firm Networking Ltd now need to raise is £7000 in total and with your help and support, I am sure they will do it.
