Hydra Welcomes Businesses to Wonderland for Charity

17th October 2016

Next month, Sheffield based digital agency, Hydra Creative will be encouraging South Yorkshire businesses to go down the rabbit hole in aid of a local charity.

Hydra is hosting a 'Welcome to Wonderland' themed dinner to raise money for Doncaster based organisation The Children's Sleep Charity. Sticking to its South Yorkshire roots, the dinner will consist of a three course meal with locally sourced ingredients. Nominated as Hydra's charity of the year, The Children's Sleep Charity was set up in 2012 with the aim of supporting all children to get a good night's sleep. Persistent sleep deprivation has a serious impact on the emotional, physical and mental health of children and their families. The charity provides support to parents and professionals by offering workshops, clinics and other learning material. The digital agency's annual fundraiser follows last year's successful event which raised more than £2000 for The Cathedral Archer project. The dinner is the latest in a series of events and tasks that Hydra is completing to raise money for local charities. Ryan Daniels, creative director at Hydra Creative said: -Being active in our community is really important to us at Hydra. We choose a new charity of the year each year, and where we're unable to raise funds for charities, we're more than happy to offer our services. -We hope to see lots of local businesses sign up for this event and raise funds for a fantastic local charity. As the father of a 10-year-old girl, I'm fully aware of how important a good night's sleep is to the whole family. Tickets for the 'Welcome to Wonderland' event are on sale now, and those interested should visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/welcome-to-wonderland-tickets-27818435690 to book. The event takes place at the Victorian mansion, Halifax Hall, in Sheffield on Thursday, November 10 from 6:30pm.
