Ignition Search Nominated For Prestigious Drum Search Award
4th May 2016
Ignition Search, a digital agency based in Sheffield, was nominated by an expert panel of digital experts for the prestigious Drum Search Awards.
Ignition was nominated specifically for the 'Best B2B Campaign PPC' for their outstanding work with Sheffield based gift wholesaler Puckator. In just 18 months, Ignition Search was not only able to recover Puckator's consecutive YOY online revenue losses but generate an additional £425,000 in online revenue with an integrated landing page system and AdWords. This was on the back of 18 consecutive back to back months of revenue increases, 2015 vs 2014. Ignition Search's expertise in AdWords and innovative landing page system has allowed Puckator to greatly outperform its competition not only in the UK but Europe as well, with online revenue increases in France, Germany and Spain. The Drum Search Awards expert panel of judges consisted of Agency Directors from Google, Bing and Yahoo as well as CEOs, Managing Directors and Search Directors from major digital agencies in the UK and Europe including Jellyfish, Branded3 and Sticky Eyes. After the judging, when talking about the standard of work, judging panel chairman Simon Vaughan from Direct Line Group said; "This year's entrants to the Drum Search Awards were all of a high calibre which made the judging very tricky at times. It's really good to see such a wide variety of entries and some really creative and innovative uses of search. These awards are a brilliant platform for advertisers and agencies to shout about how they are going above and beyond to deliver effective search campaigns and it's great to see The Drum Awards supporting the industry.
